State of Grace (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) contains the original motion picture film score composed by Randy Bonifield from the 2023 Never2Late feature film, “State of Grace,” a deeply moving drama about a single mother who must battle her personal demons and the foster care system to regain custody of her one-year-old daughter, Grace.

ABOUT THE FILM
Inspired by actual events, State of Grace is the story of Erin Sanders (Sarah Drescher), a hard-luck single mother and opioid addict, who loses custody of her one-year-old daughter Grace to the Missouri foster care system when she is arrested for dealing the dangerous narcotic fentanyl. This deeply moving drama portrays how a handful of strangers – including her former addict lawyer (Meagan Flynn), a state social worker (Merideth Rose), and a high school teacher (Charla Bocchicchio) – all with their own traumas and regrets, choose to come alongside and help Erin on her journey. As she struggles to re-make her life, Erin learns important lessons about grace, forgiveness, and personal responsibility. At its deepest level, State of Grace is a story reflecting what community and grace look like in the face of life’s challenges and struggles, ultimately asking the question “What is the price of love?”

Directed by Stephen Wallace Pruitt and written by Pruitt and his wife, Mary Settle Pruitt, State of Grace made its World Premiere at the 2023 Dances With Films Festival in Hollywood, California.
