In Matthew 27:46, Jesus quotes Psalm 22 from the cross. "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" From this example, we can know we worship a God who has taken our suffering and knows the experience of being alone. However, in this case, Jesus truly knew that experience where we only feel it. God's absence was experienced by Jesus that we might never know it. And he walked the way of suffering so we wouldn't have to.
